Softmouth Trout
Most of trout anglers have tackled hundreds of trouts varying mostly between brown trout and rainbow trout. However the unique river basin of Neretva river offers an endemic species of trout called the Softmouth trout. The Softmouth trout, known for its distinct characteristics and remarkable resilience, offers anglers an exhilarating pursuit. With its elusive nature and selective feeding habits, catching the Softmouth trout requires skill, patience, and a deep understanding of its behavior. Softmouth trouts are regarded as the strongest fighters among the trout species found in Neretva and Buna river. Softmouth trout preffer staying closer to the bottom of the river column and will rarely rise up to take dry flies and even less often streamers. Catching Softmouth trout requires a lot of nymphing and spending a lot of time on the water. Our mission is to cut this time as short as possible and get you towards these elusive trouts as fast as we can. Softmouth trout you will be able to catch in Neretva and Buna river during our trips.

Brown Trout
Brown trout are freshwater fish known for their brownish-green coloration with scattered black and red spots. They inhabit rivers, streams, and lakes, often seeking cover under banks or in submerged structures. Brown trout are prized by anglers for their elusive nature and challenging behavior, making them a popular target for fly fishing enthusiasts. Brown trouts in Bosnia and Herzegovina are found in pretty much every river and stream and are often targeted by fishermen. Brown trout you will be able to catch in all of the rivers that we offer in our trips.

Rainbow Trout
Rainbow trout are freshwater fish characterized by their distinctive pink stripe along the lateral line, which gives them their name. They have a silvery body with scattered black spots and a prominent dorsal fin. Rainbow trout prefer cold, clear streams and lakes, where they feed on insects, small fish, and crustaceans. They are highly sought after by anglers for their fighting spirit and delicious taste, making them a popular choice for recreational fishing. In Bosnia rainbow trout are very often breed in many fisheries around Bosnia and in a lot cases they escape fisheries and settle in rivers and lakes altough in some places they are released into rivers. During our trips you will be able to catch rainbow trouts in Neretva and Buna river.

Grayling
Grayling are freshwater fish recognized by their slender body and distinctive dorsal fin, which is large and deeply forked, resembling a sail. They typically have a silvery hue with shades of blue and purple, and their scales often display a shimmering iridescence. Grayling prefer cold, clear rivers and streams with gravel bottoms, where they feed on insects and small crustaceans. They are prized by anglers for their beauty, acrobatic leaps, and challenging fight when hooked. In Bosnia grayling can often be found in many rivers after they were introduced for the first time. In our trips you will be able to catch them in Neretva and Sturba river.
