Who is responsible

Fly Fishing Trips Bosnia is run by Faruk Špiljak, based in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Faruk Špiljak is responsible for your personal data. For anything about this policy, write to flyfishingtripsbosnia@gmail.com or call +387 62 008 476.

What you send us

The inquiry form on this website has no backend. It builds a message and opens it in your own WhatsApp or email app, and nothing reaches us unless you press send there. The same goes for writing or calling us directly. We then receive:

• Your name and email address, and your phone number if you use WhatsApp, Viber or call
• The river, dates, number of anglers and equipment rental you ask about
• Anything else you choose to tell us, such as your experience level or a medical condition that matters for the trip

We use this to answer your inquiry, plan and run your trip, and keep the records the law requires. We rely on the steps needed to arrange and perform your booking, our legal obligations, and our legitimate interest in running the business. Where you share health details, we rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

We keep your messages for as long as we need them to handle your inquiry and trip, and for any longer period accounting or tax law requires. We don’t sell your data or use it for marketing lists.

What happens when you visit

Like any website, this one can’t load without some data passing between your device and the services behind it. Each of them sees your IP address and basic browser details:

• Cloudflare hosts the website, protects it from attacks and handles connection logs and network error reports.
• Google Fonts supplies the website’s fonts on every page.
• YouTube supplies the video thumbnails on the Videos page. The video player only loads when you press play, from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain, and YouTube’s own terms apply from then on.

We rely on our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website. WhatsApp, Viber, Gmail, Instagram and Google reviews are separate services that process what you send or do there under their own privacy policies. Links to them share nothing until you follow them.

Some of these companies are based in, or process data in, the United States and other countries outside Bosnia and Herzegovina and the EU. They use their own safeguards for those transfers, such as standard contractual clauses.

Cookies

This website doesn’t set any cookies, so there’s no cookie banner. Your browser may cache files such as images to speed up later visits. YouTube may store data on your device once you press play on a video.

Photos and reviews

We take photos and videos on trips and sometimes share them on this website and on Instagram, always after checking with you. The reviews shown here come from Google and display the name the reviewer used there. If you’d like a photo or review of yours removed, tell us and we’ll take it down.

Your rights

You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or receive a copy to take elsewhere. Write to flyfishingtripsbosnia@gmail.com and we’ll reply within one month.

You can also complain to the Personal Data Protection Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina or, if you live in the EU, to the data protection authority in your country.

If this policy changes, we’ll update it here and change the date at the top.
