Who we are

Fly Fishing Trips Bosnia is run by Faruk Špiljak, based in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Reach us at flyfishingtripsbosnia@gmail.com or +387 62 008 476.

Booking

Sending an inquiry doesn’t book a trip. Your booking is made when we confirm your dates, river, group size and price in writing, by email or message. Any payment, deposit and cancellation terms are set out in that confirmation, and they apply along with these terms.

Prices and what’s included

Prices on the Trips & Prices page are in euros and are the total per day for the whole group. One guide works with a maximum of 3 anglers. The price in your written confirmation is the one that applies.

Included:

• Transportation with driver from Sarajevo (or nearby) to the river
• Guide on the water for the full day
• Drinks and snacks on the water during fishing
• Fishing permits

Not included:

• Airplane, bus or train ticket to Sarajevo
• Equipment rental: €40 per person — waders, boots, rod, reel and all necessary tackle
• Lunch — guests are usually taken to a nearby restaurant and cover the cost of their meal

Conditions on the water

Rivers change with the weather and season. Your guide may change the river, stretch or timing if conditions or safety call for it, and may end a session if it becomes unsafe. If a trip can’t go ahead, we’ll contact you as soon as we can to agree on another date or river.

Fishing is fishing. We’ll do our best to put you on fish, but we can’t promise any particular catch or species.

Your safety and responsibilities

Fly fishing means wading in cold, moving water and walking on slippery, uneven ground, and trips involve road travel to remote areas. You take part at your own risk, so please:

• Tell us before the trip about any medical condition, injury or limited mobility, and whether you can swim
• Follow your guide’s instructions on the water, and don’t fish or wade while affected by alcohol or drugs
• Bring suitable clothing and any medication you need
• Arrange your own travel insurance, including cover for medical costs and cancellation
• Follow local fishing rules, which your guide will explain

Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult.

Rental equipment

Please take reasonable care of rented equipment and return it at the end of the trip. You may be charged for loss or damage caused by carelessness, but not for normal wear.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law doesn’t allow it, including for death or injury caused by our negligence, or takes away your rights as a consumer. Otherwise, we aren’t liable for loss or damage we couldn’t reasonably have prevented, for loss of or damage to your personal belongings unless we caused it, or for costs of flights, accommodation and other arrangements you make yourself.

Photos and website content

The text, photos, videos and logo on this website belong to us or are used with permission. Please don’t reuse them without asking. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle photos of guests.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and disputes go to the courts in Sarajevo. If you’re a consumer living elsewhere, you keep any mandatory protections your home country gives you. If something goes wrong, please talk to us first, as most things can be sorted out directly.

Changes

We may update these terms and will change the date at the top when we do. The version in place when your booking is confirmed applies to that booking.
